My family, my husband & I included, love this "car". It is so much fun and so easy to use that my 2 yr old grasped the concept of it right out of the box. Very easy to put together although one of the back wheels was a bit of a tight fit. I have not taken the PlasmaCar out of our house yet so I can not rate how it handles on the road. My children [6,2,9 months] use it on our Laminate "hardwood" floors, actual hardwood floors, somewhat bumpy porcelain tile and occasionally on the driveway. It definitely deserves the Platinum Best Toy Award that it was given. The only problem I see is that I only have one :)

The plasma car has now been ridden inside/outside on Concrete, Asphalt, Grass, Tile, Laminate, Rug etc...I completely stand by my first review on how wonderful this toy is. I do have to say however the tread on the wheels do not catch well on smooth floors so sometimes it can be a hassle getting the steering wheel to turn the wheels. My kids still LOVE the toy and use it whenever they can. All three have ridden it together they love taking each other for rides. It really is a great product and has held up VERY WELL against my very destructive children.

Its been a while since I updated this but looking through my reviews I realized this is one I had to update. This many years later crazy kids and many play-dates [with friends who also found this toy irresistible] the plasma car is still running...We have only had one minor issue with the handlebar/wheel that my husband easily fixed. This thing is awesome, I am even tempted to buy another because they all STILL fight over it when they are downstairs LOL! DEFINITELY A MUST BUY FOR ANY PARENT!!!

Bought 4 cars for my grandchildren (ages 3 to 12, 30 to 120 lbs., 3 feet to 5 feet) They got on them and immediately went everywhere (mystery to me how it works), inside and outside the house. It has been non-stop fun for all. Highly reccomend.

We have hardwood floors that seem to slant. I have fun riding this as does my husband. my 15month old sits and pushes with her feet. Fun for the whole family.

This is an amazing toy!
It is such a wonder how by just wiggling the wheel side to side, you can propel this car to start moving. It doesn't need any batteries. The only batteries is for the little music box on top of the steering wheel. Instead of a horn, ours play "Row, Row, Row, Your Boat".
It works best on smooth surfaces like gyms, hardwood floors, etc. My kids love to bring it outside to play on the street and empty the parking lots. They can go pretty far on a slightly angled road. The only problem is that it can make a lot of noise specially on rougher roads like asphalt. Rough roads also scratches the plastic wheels.
Overall, it is a superb toy. It is FUN, FUN, FUN. Check out tons of videos online.
