3 year old loves this toy Apr 12, 2011
By Jonathan and Amanda Daniels I would agree with others that putting the clothes on was a chore (at least the first time). We taught our daughter how to do it and she has no problem switching outfits now. We actually taught her to remove the hands - they pop off on purpose and that assists with putting on the clothes. She absolutely loves this toy and it has provided hours of fun.

What are they thinking? Oct 25, 2011
By This cannot be for real There is no way any kid under adult can use this (I've tried). You have to rip off the head then take off the hands, then take off the feet and then stretch a crappy plastic dress over the body. They put the head back on, which snaps on. Then you can put the feet and hands on, but you'll probably lose them since they are smaller than a dime. Then, you might be able to push on some slippers that don't clip at all and fall off immediately unless you glue them. It also comes with a cat??? That seems to have a dress too that is also unusable. Oh yeah, don't forget the 'comb' and 'hairspray' that also comes with this for some reason although there is really no hair that makes sense to comb. This should fall into a item recall as I have never seen anything that is less kid friendly or a bigger waste of money.
Outside of some good glitter on these, which coincidentally fell off all over my flipping couch, this is the WORST $19 I've ever spent. Now trying to return it or exchange at a local Disney store and they are telling me I can't do so as it's from the Downtown disney store only. Also, there is no UPC (or whatever on it) so I cannot get a value from my local store. If I could write a book on this to help parents I would. Ugh, Ick, disgusting, Disney item. Perhaps I'll at least be able to keep the plastic case if I am stuck with this that is shaped like a heart? Which also makes no sense.
Man I'm an idiot for this purchase.

not impressed Sep 24, 2010
By craftyjules Ordered this for my 3 year old daughters birthday. When I opened it up, the smell of PVC plastic was overwhelming! I thought the clothes would be a little rigid and would "clip" onto the figure. They are not. They are soft plastic and must slid up over the body, arms and legs of the figure. I can't imagine that my 3 year will be able to do this (even though the age recommendation is 3+). As I was trying to figure it out, I pulled the arms out of the body. I expected something much nicer and of better quality from Disney. Tempted to return it.
Daughter LOVES it. Jan 17, 2012
By MnMom We bought this set last week while in Disney. My 3 year old LOVES it. She has been a big fan of the Disney Favorite Moments dolls that are similar to this, each princess has little plastic clothes that you can change and shoes that get lost and sucked up in the vaccuum. Not my favorite but she can play for hours with these. It took a few minutes for her to get used to dressing Minnie but once she figured out you can remove the hands she was good to go. My main problem now is that she took them off and I have a feeling they are lost forever. I've searched every to find a replacement, this set goes for $14.95 at Disney world so I have a hard time paying a lot more plus shipping here. Hopefully we'll find the missing parts soon and she can go back to playing with it.
Don't buy this toy, it's just not worth it Nov 23, 2011
By AO My 6-year-old chose this toy during our WDW trip as her souvenir on her last day. She spent 6 hours staring at the package waiting to play with it since we wouldn't let her open it on the plane (too many small pieces to lose). When she woke up in the morning, the first thing she did was open it & start to play...then cry. She couldn't get any dresses on Minnie, it's just too hard. I couldn't get them on either. So I read reviews that said the feet pop off - but they don't!! Minnie's leg broke off & her arms stretched out & aren't moveable any more. No instructions in the package to say what does & does not pop off (head & hands do, but legs & arms don't). Only upside was that after the leg broke off she could actually get a dress on, but I am shipping this back. My only regret was that we waited to let her try out the toy, it would have been easier to return at WDW! So incredibly disappointed.
