I purchased this tween strawberry shortcake for my 5 year old...she wears a size 6/6x and this fits her just fine, it has a tie in the back so i was able to adjust the size. the childs size in this costume is unusually small. All costumes like this require some work and tweaking to get them to look just right or like the model pictured. the hat is really cute but the visor is big and floppy so i plan to glue a piece of craft foam on the underside so it stays up and out of her eyes. I also plan to stuff it to make it stay full and puffy. I will also put a pettiskirt underneath the costume to make the bottom look full. I also purchased the wig and purse. wig seems like good quality and the purse is cute but really small so it wont work for trick or treating so i bought her a plastic strawberry shortcake treat bag.

I purchased this for my 6 year old daughter after reading reviews. The costume is extremely flimsy and cheap quality given its high price. My daughter loves it - and she tried it on five times - but I now have to keep it hidden - because the dress is ripping along all the seams. I had to take it to be fixed - which adds to the already high cost. This is a cheap (not in the fiscal sense) costume and you should not buy. I also purchased the wig and purse to go with it and find similar to other reviews that the wig is nice quality and the purse is very small.

I ordered this for a 15 year old girl to wear for my Daughters birthday party, she usually wears a size small, when i recieved my tween medium, it was too small for her. Luckily she had a 9 year old sister to wear it for me!
