We bought this swing for our 5-year-old and 11-year-old sons. They both love it! We hung it from a tree in our front yard. It is holding up quite nicely and getting even more use than I had expected! The plastic seat is very sturdy. I was a little worried about the rope giving the boys rope-burn, but the rope is nice and smooth and does not hurt their hands.
We had originally purchased this swing for my oldest, who has high-functioning autism. It is great for him because besides being able to spin, he is able to swing back and forth and round and round. It does take some coordination to stay on, which is helping build his core muscles as well as helping work on his balance. It is also a great place for him to go to when he becomes over-stimulated.
My five-year-old loves being able to fly around in circles, though it is harder for him to get it going very high on his own. (That is probably a good thing!) It was a great choice for both my boys as well as all of the neighborhood kids!

Could not find a simple disc swing in any store. So was very happy to find a few selections at Amazon. Picked this one because last one I had was woeeden and fell apart after 2 years from being left in the weather. This one is high grade plastic and is good for weights up to 200 lbs. My grandkids are growing and even though none are 200 lbs (most are over 70lbs now which is limit for most disc swings). With all the electronics and video games etc. this crazy disc swing is still one of their favorites!!

Bought a used swing set that came with three swings. We replaced one swing with this disc swing & it works great. My son loves it. The instructions, which just showed how to tie knots, were very helpful with installation.

I'm using it with a zip line. Works great! I also have a handle bar. The kids prefer this swing most of the time.

Love love love this product! My 11-year-old boy and 7-year-girl have already had so much fun with this product. My husband substituted a longer jump rope for the rope that came with it because we needed it to be longer in order to wrap up around the branch of the tree. I even swing on it-- I believe the weight limit is listed as 115 lbs (I range about that up to 118 lbs.) I don't know about durability because it's only been a couple months, but so far so good. It gets the kids out of the house and taking turns, communing with the dirt, grass, and trees. I would definitely buy again.
