When it keeps your kids laughing, it gets 5 stars. At first I was apprehensive about a talking potato head (why can't they just let some things stay simple), but it's a hit in our house.

I bought this because of the hilarious bad review of 1 star. It was the only review the toy had at the time and it made me want to get it for my kids. They love this toy, and it really is not as bad as that review made it seem. So much fun I would recommend it to anyone looking for a potato head!!! Love that he talks and explodes too :)

If you're looking for "The" Mr. Potato Head straight out of Toy Story 3, then look no further! This talking Mr. Potato head not ony talks, but he responds to you when you talk to him, tells jokes, has that witty sarcasm, and when you ignore him, he does not hesitate to let you know LOL! However, don't scare him, or he'll fall to pieces, literally! So cute! All his pieces will pop off (It's part of the toy), and he says "Jeez, you've scared me to pieces!!!" He also moves back and forth while talking, and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity, which I plan on framing soon. I love this lil Spud, and plan on having him for a long, long time!
By the way, don't pay for it on here, it's selling for too much I see. Go to Toys R Us, and you'll save about 40.00 or more, SERIOUSLY.

This is a fun little toy, you yell, and his parts pop off. Make sure to put the hat on last. If you get tired of listening to it, there is a button on the bottom.

I saw this version of Mr. Potato head in stores a few months back...
Though it looked cool from where I was standing, once I saw the price tag, I quickly turned my head & walked away...
I came across this version again while searching toys online & this time I was able to see a test video on youtube...
I must say I was not only entertained by the video, but I was also thoroughly impressed with this toy!!!
I went out the next day and purchased it for my 6 year old daughter...
Even though she already has one of the basic Mr. Potato head toys, this one got her so excited!!!!
It only took a few minutes to open it up, get it together,and start playing with it...
It is AWESOME!!! folks...
WHAT A TOY!!!
It not only talks, but it is voice activated(which is awesome for kids), and has an incredibly cool feature too it...
When setting it in the correct play mode, with a loud shout or strong clap of the hands, it will spit all of its parts out and still be talking... lol
There really isn't a Con for it, except you cannot store it's peices in it's body like normal, because there is a battery compartment there, and sometimes when it spits it's parts out, they all dont come out...
These are very minor cons though, and you will hardly notice them, because you will be so entertained!!!
This toy also comes with a certificate of auth from a guy affiliated with the toy story franchise, and its not a stamp autograph... its real!!!
Buy this toy... play with it, or keep it unopened!!! It is a real treasure!!!
