3Great pop up tent - lousy ball pit  May 26, 2010 By Farm Mom of 8
We bought this after our 4th jumpolene got a hole in it. It's a cute pop-up tent, but a sad, sad ball pit. The "lip" to hold balls in is only deep enough for one layer of balls. The two oval shaped openings do not velcro closed, and there is no way to sew them shut because the flaps are not big enough to seal the opening. Perhaps a 6 month old would be happy with that pathetic number of balls, but my 3 and 4 year olds want their jumpolene back so they can actually play in the balls. I ended up wrapping fabric all the way around the "ball" pit so that the yellow opening is still big enough for them to get in and out, but the balls are not constantly falling out the other openings and the balls are at least 12 inches deep, instead of 3 inches deep so it is a little more fun. To call this a "ball zone" is really stretching the truth.

5Bigger than expected. Kids love.  Feb 22, 2010 By K. Ferriman
I have three kids 5 and under, and this has been a hit with all three. It was a Christmas present for the youngest (2). It has held up well through wrestling and jumping. My kids are very rough on toys (large for their ages, and VERY active) and this has had no tears, or breakage anywhere. It is larger than I had expected, but that is perfect when all three what to play at the same time. There is a hole in the top that my kids like to throw the balls in and out (as well as a door, and two openings for tunnels). Overall, nice tent, folds up nicely in it's own bag for storage. The balls it comes with are not quite enough to cover the entire floor, but if I added more balls, it would just be more for them (and me) to clean up! Oh, and the bag that came with the balls started to unravel at the seam on the second day, but the balls can easily be stored in any bag (ours are currently housed in a kitchen trash bag).

5Magic Ball Zone is fun  May 18, 2010 By J. Edgar
I bought this for my 1 & 2 yr old grandkids and to have for a large family gathering. It was a hit with kids of all ages. At one point they had a small slide ending in the pit too. It is colorful and is strong enough to move with 200 balls inside.

It comes with only 100 balls. 200 balls seems to fill it better. The kids have used this in the house (on carpet) and outside (on grass). I am very happy with the purchase and recommend this product.Playhut Magic Ball Zone

5Fun and durable  Dec 19, 2009 By J. Morse
We've had our ball pit for 2.5 years and it looks just as good as the day it was opened up. It doesn't get daily play since it's in the basement and my girls, who are now 3 and 4 years old, tend to play with it like mad for several days and then get bored with it. So, I rotate it in and out of the toy circulation. They are always happy to see it again. They loved the balls when they were littler but now they tend to use it more as a tent, house or hiding place to play in with their dolls and stuffed friends. I would rec this toy and we've really enjoyed having it.

5Ball Pit  Dec 28, 2010 By dee
This ball pit is great because you can take it down and put it away. Then put all the balls in a trash bag. Don't buy the ball pits that blow up, they will only last a few months if your lucky. This ball pit folds away very small. Save the box!! I store this in the box it came in, the box has a handle on top. I have the tunnels that connect. Everything folds up, its a great toy when kids come over an play. Then it goes back in the box. I would recommend this toy.
