Poorly constructed Oct 28, 2010

My daughter really wanted to be a mermaid for halloween, so I got her this costume. Big mistake. At least half of the sequins have already fallen off and the fabric on the underside of the tail is completely ripped. She only wore the costume to a party for 3 hours, and I don't think it will last through trick-or-treating.

My daughter loved her little mermaid costume, but it was very thin. By the time trick or treat was over the bottom was ripped to shreds. She still plays dress up but it's all ratty after one nights use.

This costume is cute BUT within the first couple hours of wear, our house was covered with sequins. The sequins are not sewn on but rather glued on in some way. They fall off with every move of the child. The costume definitely loses some of its specialness with out the shiny sequins. Would not purchase this again but we will enjoy it until all the sequins are gone...and in my vacuum:~/
