 The best for your money; Hopscotch playmat is the answer. Nov 30, 1999
We have 5 years old twin daughters, that are to say the least not easy to please. Yet from the first day on that their Uncle presented them with the Hopscotch playmat, they routinely play the fun game over and over again. When they're done they place it inside the vynil bag, it came in. Good price,Very practicle, Great educational value, Clear instructions, Machine washable and best of all our kids love it! Lasting toy Nov 27, 2002
I got this for my daughter several years ago. When a friend and I were recently discussing all the toys we had bought that the kids never play with, this came up as one of the few purchases that I felt I got my moneys worth and the kids have played with it over the years. It has held up great. It's perfect for cold, rainy days when the kids have energy to burn. It helps with coordination. I don't know if it still comes with the plastic carrying case, but the case is good for keeping it clean and taking it where ever you go.

My children ages 3 and 5 love this hopscotch mat. It's nicely made and fun for rainy inside days. Rolls up and easy to put away when not in use.

Good for indoor exercise! Jan 11, 2007

I bought this rug for my girls to get a little exercise while indoors during the winter months. It comes all rolled up, but then flattens out nicely! No rolled edges to trip on! And this means it can easily be stored in the closet or under the bed when not in use, if needed. It does have a non-skid backing, but still slides around just a bit on carpet, but that's to be expected as the girls jump on it.
I know this rug is a little pricier than the foam-block kind, but to me, the flat rug is worth it. I didn't want to risk any twisted ankles if someone jumped too close to the edge on one foot!

We've had this rug for over a year, and it still looks great. The girls are still too young to really play hopscotch (almost 4 and 2), but we use it for all sorts of other games (find the 6, sit on a green square, etc.). We have it on a laminate floor, and it doesn't slide at all. It vacuums well, and it's not too big to take and shake outside. I recommend it if you're looking for an activity rug.
