I don't think I had any expectations of this toy when my daughter bought it with her allowance. But 4 yo ALWAYS have expectations. So the fact that the hard plastic hat won't stay on the doll's hard plastic hair frustrates her need to recreate movie moments. I totally get that and can remember feeling that way about toys as a child. She plays with it and has refused my offer to permanently glue it on. But I would have prepared her for that possibility had I thought of it.

Unlike the Woody form the same product line, the hat on Jessie does not even fit her head. It is physically impossible to stay on. A poor design. Save your money and by something else.

This toy is poorly constructed, hat does not fit, and in no way is this toy posable, all extremities are already cracking.

"Rounders"
Like everyone else has said, the hat doesn't stay on. My kids eventually just gave up on the hat- not a huge deal. But then her ear chipped and it's just barely hanging on now. And today, her head completely snapped off. After reading a few reviews, apparently the head snapping off is fairly common. Yes, the doll was inexpensive, but I still expect better quality than this.

Head snapped off shortly after my daughter got it, and she's not rough with toys. Just a cheap toy. She was really sad and kept playing with the headless body, but that is creepy, so I tossed it when she was at school. Now I have to find her a better quality one.
