We got this for our just turned two year old daughter. She LOVES it. We use it as an inside toy - in our living room with rice in both sides. I tried water in one, but she wasn't really interested. She loves scooping the rice into buckets and bowls (Note, though, that the rice doesn't drain through the toys that come with it.), hiding and digging her hands in it and, of course, flinging the rice everywhere. Not a big deal, I can vacuum it up. But, I decided to put a plastic shower curtain under the table to help make clean up easier. She wakes up asking for it and goes to bed asking for it. A great educational toy (Is the bucket full or empty? Which bowl is heavier?, Can you find the buried toy?...) - plus it will be better OUTSIDE in the summer!

The table was great fun while it lasted unfortunately less than 2 weeks after I bought this, one of the permanent plugs broke. There are 2 removable plugs on each side (to let the water out) and 2 permanent plugs. The purpose of the permanent plugs are actually to just help secure the leg mounting device under the table. The is actually a terrible design, since the permanent plug is broken that hole leaks water and/or sand (whichever I try to put in that side). I know its only $45 dollars but if I had to do over again I would have picked another table with a better design.

We researched sand & water tables and finally decided on this one, mostly due to ELC's good reputation. We also liked the funnels and wheels as well as the toys that come with the table; not many tables have both for such a reasonable price. The cover that doubles as a road for our son's trucks and cars is a plus, too. He LOVES this table and uses it all the time!

I bought this for my petite two year old daughter. Table is only 17 inches tall, so she could easily reach down into the table and scoop out sand and play with it. Unfortunately, the wheels that are suppose to turn when sand is poured onto them didn't work. They were on too tight to spin and I couldn't fix it without breaking it. Table is very colorful and she loved playing in the sand, but for $50, I wanted everything to work! I did return it to Amazon and they gave me a full refund since it was defective. This was the first time I've ever had to return an item to Amazon and they were great about it! Will always continue to buy toys from Amazon for this reason!

It survived one season of abuse and currently we are in the second summer fun period. My 3 y.o. son likes to play with water - as soon as it's warm outside he plays with this table daily. So it's a great investment. Easy to maintain with an exception of the cover, that attracts dirt like nothing else. One more note: don't let your kids drink from this tub. It's very easy for little ones - they just lean and try to drink. So watch out and train not to do so.
