"surviving the economy"
I got this for my 2 yr old granddaughter..and she is not ready for it yet. She put the smaller pcs in her mouth which I retrieved and threw away.. The stickers ended up on my tv and windows and doors.
It is very cute tho' . The boxed stage set is only supported by a couple ribbons tho' and any small tug will snap them..and then it will not stand up any longer. This is very good. I would make sure the child is 3 or older tho'.

I bought this set because the picture shown was different than another Sponge Bob Colorform set I bought a few weeks ago. What was shipped ended up being the same set we already had and not the set shown in this picture. I had to order a new set because my 4 & 5 year olds love Sponge Bob, but broke (or so I thought) the first set I bought. It turns out that the 3D box is extremely flimsy, and won't stay up from the get-go and it wasn't because my kids were too rough. The Colorforms don't stick to the box or anything else for that mattter...this is not the quality that Colorforms used to be, that's for sure! Not worth the money. It's not the same as the picture, the box is flimsy and the colorforms DO NOT CLING to anything. A huge disappointment and waste of money.

I had high hopes when I purchased this product for my Son. The box doesn't open correctly. It's supposed to be 3D, but the top doesn't stay open so you can use it. The colorforms themselves were difficult to peel off the paper. Once freed, they did not stick to the box. Also, there are so many shapes and hardly any surfaces to put them. I would definitely advise potential buyers to save their money.

My grandchildren (boy 4, girl 11) never tire of playing with Colorforms.
Now to have one in their favorite cartoon character is especially fun.

My son loves Spongebob, so I thought this was a no-brainer. Plus, I remember playing for hours with colorforms years ago. Maybe it's 30 years of age on my brain, but these didn't seem as exciting as the one's I played with. My son liked them very much.... but was done in 5 minutes.
