I get so tired of paying more than $20 for costumes that arrive and are poor quality and nothing like the advertised photo. That was NOT my experience with this purchase. This costume has great fabrics, is super comfortable and looks even cuter on my kid than it does in the photo. We layered a white tee-shirt under the vest and blouse sleeves, and put him in regular brown boots rather than using the boot toppers that came in the set, and it was a hit (with my little guy and all the neighbors and friends that he growled at all evening). I think this is the cutest toddler pirate costume online.

My 2 year old nephew loves it! He loves to play dress up with his sister and loves pirates so this was perfect. The pants are a little long but that's ok as they roll up.

Bought this costume for my 3 year old and it was great. He loved it and wore it a couple of times.
Some other reviews said that they had a problem with the elastic that went under the shoe on the boot covers, but my boot covers worked great and never tore or stretched.
Pros:
The cloth is light and is great for warmer climates like ours.
The hat and shoe covers are cute and durable.
The most pirate looking costume for kids I have found for the price.
Loved the colors and soft material
Cons: (easily fixable and not a big deal)
The belt is big and needs a better fastener than cheap velcro (I used a safety pin and it worked fine)
The pants have a very flimsy elastic in the waist and fell off my son (used a safety pin to hold pants up by attaching to shirt)
Overall this costume was an excellent buy and the hat and boot covers are super cute
