 Fun toy but not good quality Feb 07, 2010

My daughter loved playing with a skip it at school and asked for one for Christmas. We saw this toy which was similiar and reasonable. However, all 6 of the ones we got broke within the first two days and my daughter was very disappointed. The balls split in half and were not quality at all.

This set is great! I searched and searched for a "skip ball" that wasn't too heavy. My 8-yr old daughter had one that broke within 15 mins of figuring out how to use it because the woven ball was too heavy and it flew right off. These are more like wiffle balls, so they are a good weight. The price/value is great, too. I figured even if one broke, we would have 5 more. As it turns out, friends love to join in! Even my 5-yr old can do it! This would be a good set for schools for P.E. class.

I bought this set knowing the durability of the product was low. It was only about $2 a swing ball so you can't really expect much out of them. It's no where near the quality of a real skip-it but it served it purpose for the weekend party I bought it for. And surprisingly none have broken yet.
