5I have owned it for 6 months  Jul 30, 2008 By Nick T. Vernon
When my wife called to say she was buying a bounce house for the boys (age 5,6,8) I was hesitant to get one from the internet. We have been renting them three times a year, for about $[...] a time, so we felt it would be a good idea to buy one. As usual, she proved me wrong. My Kids adore this thing.

The overall height was low, and since we wanted something we could use inside and out, we decided to go with the Superstar because it seemed like the best value. The Super Star turned out to be bigger than I expected, but it still fits in our garage, which is a huge bonus for us when it's cold. We put a tarp on the floor underneath it. The picture looks like it's open, but the front actually velcro's shut so the kids are kept inside with no problem.

Our boys treat it like you'd expect - like it's a big wrestling ring. It has held up pretty well, and I think the ideal age range is 3-8. Our 8 year old is big for his age, and he likes playing in it, but the younger kids seem to like it even more. They want to sleep in it, but I don't know how they'd be able to sleep in it with the fan going the whole time.

Buying the bounce house online and not being able to test it person worried me. Now that I see my 3 boys on it having an amazing time, I am so glad my wife purchased it. This summer we have been setting the Super Star up outside. The boys play on the bouncer for a few hours before coming inside exhausted.

Pros:
* Easy to set up
* Can be used indoors and outdoors
* Tires the kids out!
* Has lasted me six months with no problems
* Comes with a carrying bag
* Blows up and is ready to use in only a couple of minutes
* Low overall height (I think 7ft or so)

Cons:
* Takes about 10 minutes to roll the bouncer tightly for storage
* The air blower is loud, but a lot quieter then the rental bounce house blowers we have used in the past (louder than a hair dryer, not as loud as a vacuum).

5Very pleased with product  Sep 24, 2009 By SteveO "SteveO"
For such an expensive purchase for kids to have as a toy, I was skeptical, but thanks to all of the positive reviews this product received, we decided to make the plunge...we just got it yesterday, and set up was a breeze...a little on the heavy side, but that's becuase the materials used are very heavy duty for a "consumer" bounce house...as promised, it inflated within a minute or two, and the kids' eyes lit up...a 5 year old girl and an 18 month boy were thrilled...contrary to the picture, there are velcro sealers to keep the door flaps closed securely so that lil ones can't fall out...the unit is very sturdy for toddlers, although not for adults, as the package says...The kids loved playing in it, and it is about 6 feet tall total, so it will be nice to set up in the basement during the winter so the kids can burn off some energy...The design is kind of basic...nothing overly fancy...but I didn't pay for fancy, I paid for bouncy, and hoped for heavy duty...and that's exactly what I got for the money...Another reviewer stated that it was "too hard" when inflated...I looked for signs of this, and couldn't identify any discomfort or signs of too much air in the jumper amid the hundreds of pile drivers that my 5 year old did. The bouncer appeared big enough for 3 good sized toddlers or 5-6 smaller toddlers using at the same time...To test the strength of the bouncer, I had my daughter ram one of the corners to see if it would give out under a direct assault...she bounced off, and the bouncer passed another safety test. The side netting feels sturdy and strong, well knitted together in a pattern that is able to be seen through at a distance, though not very easy to see through when standing next to the bouncer. I can't really say that this bouncer is educational because...well...it's a bouncer...it might teach balancing or something...but can't we just buy stuff for our kids that we always wished we had while we were growing up? This is one of those things that we wished we had as a child...and this particular bouncer is going to be a hit for years to come...

UPDATE: 9/27/2011
This bouncer still is going strong, we've kept it in the basement, and it has never been outside. That being said, it has withstood many parties, many playdates, and continues to be the hit of the neighborhood...VERY IMPRESSED! Just BUY IT ALREADY!

2New Design For 2010???  Jun 14, 2010 By Easy-G
This is a quality bouncer, but they changed the design for 2010. They moved the walls from the middle of the posts out to the outside of the posts (except for the front entrance). This gives you more room inside the bouncer, but at a cost. Now that the walls are at the edge of the base, anytime you get too close to the walls the edge of the base starts to collapse. This makes you fall into the walls which will collapse around you like a taco as you're laying on the ground. We have a 3 year old that constantly ends up on the ground with the wall wrapped around him. Thankfully there is no danger of suffocation since the upper walls are mesh. They didn't move the front entrance wall out to the edge so it is not a problem in the front. We really wish they didn't move the walls out to the edge, because otherwise it is a nice bouncer. We sent it back in disappointment. Look at the pictures we posted.

5Well made, fun for kids, great value  Oct 18, 2010 By J. Henry Rone
I have two kids under 6, and they love this bouncy. It is a little smaller than a commercial one we had considered renting for a party. We bought this instead of renting, though, since the price of the rental was only 1/3rd of the purchase price for this one, and we could keep it! We've now used it more than a dozen times this summer.

A few thoughts:

1. In the product photos, there are two pictures that another customer submitted with the back edge of the bouncy sewn wrong. That is NOT how mine arrived. Mine looks like it should. If you get one made as shown in those pictures, call the manufacturer. That's not right.

2. The carrying bag that came with it is sturdy, but it is very difficult to roll up the bouncy small enough to fit back into it. In fact we found it pretty much impossible. They definitely roll it up tighter at the factory than I can at home. And there's no room for the fan/stakes in the bag if the bouncy is in it. So I went to a hardware store and bought a large, heavy-duty plastic garbage can with wheels. Now I roll up the bouncy as tight as possible (in quarter-width folds, by the way), lay the garbage can next to it, and slide the bouncy right it. MUCH EASIER in my opinion. Plus, it now has wheels for carting back into the garage. (I use the carrying bag for the fan, now.)

All in all, this has been a lot of fun for our kids (and for visiting/neighbor kids). It was worth the price.

5Great bouncy house!  Apr 26, 2011 By Cheryl Tarditi
So glad we bought this bouncy house - well worth the money! Very sturdy and the kids love it. (The adults even tried it out!) No worries that the kids will get trapped in the side (as seen in the video) - it was redesigned. Easy to set up - done in minutes. Packs up smaller than expected. We love it and look forward to using it at all the birthday parties.
