DOLL DID NOT WORK! Feb 09, 2009
By ledorinc This doll was purchased for my daughter's birthday. When she tried to get the doll to swim it just never worked. She was very disappointed. This was very sad since she wanted this doll for two years but we were unable to find the doll last year.

swimming doll Mar 21, 2009
By Mary Ledbetter My daughter loves swimming more than anything. You put the doll in the water and it starts swimming. There are no buttons to push. She really does swim on her stomach or her back. It's pretty neat to see her go. The only downside is that it is very noisy. It sounds like an egg beater going. So it's hard to have the fantasy of a swimming baby with all this noise in the tub. To have her in the water & not swimming you would have to remove the batteries....or wait a day or two for them to run down. It takes four batteries and within three tub sessions, the batteries were dead. When I took her apart to change the batteries, the batteries were already rusty. And it's not like we left her emerged in the tub. After a few tub sessions, my daughter lost interest. So she sits on the edge of the tub waiting to be remembered. And this, along with a fishing pole, were all my daughter wanted for Christmas.
