Design Flaw Dec 11, 2009

You'd be better off putting your money directly into the waste basket as this colorful piece of junk will only take up space. How this toy got past the design table is beyond me! Any child old enough to climb the the slide will be too big to slide down it effectively. Notice the sharp slope and flat end, this makes it more suitable as a chair than a slide. Horrible product. Shame on American Plastic Toy for creating this product and double shame for pricing it so high!

very short Oct 29, 2009

I bought this for my 22 month old and she is way too big for it. The slide has a very flat bottom, so she just sits at the top and her feet rest on the bottom. I don't think even a younger child would enjoy this.

Poor Excuse for a Slide Dec 18, 2009

I can't believe they actually released this slide. Surely they must have tested it before marketing it. The angle of the slide is such that my 2-year-old son's feet land at the bottom landing not allowing him to actually slide down. It is a true waste of money. I luckily got it at Toy r us Black Friday Sale for $15 and am going to return it. It's not even worth $15 because kids can't actually slide down and its on the small side. It just takes up valuable space in my living room. My son stopped playing with it. I don't blame him . I am thinking of getting the Step2 Naturally Playful Big Folding Slide. It's a lot more, but it looks like he can play with it for years.

Sturdy! Feb 16, 2011
By GF I use this as an indoor slide for my three year old who is obsessed with slides. It is small, that is why I got it. My daughter on the first day kept hurting her bum on the bottom when landing, (that could be improved) but she quickly learned how to go down and not hurt her bum. She also uses it for her toy cars, babies, her toy balls, I even gave in one time and let her make a waterslide by taking it in the shower-it fits in my apartment size tub. This slide has been a big relief for my munchkin getting over this wicked cold winter we are are having. She has been stuck in the house a lot. The only thing that some people might care about but I dont is that is really isnt that "foldable". You have to remove two screws everytime you fold it and put them back for safty reasons when you take it out again. My daughter doesnt let me put it away anyhow, so I havent had to do that. But I imagine that it might be a pain to people that do because then you have to remember where you put the screws LOL. This slide can take a lot of crap and the ladder is wide enough in the back so it doesnt fall over sideways when your kids are fighting over it (not my angels...) I would reccomend this slide as an indoor slide. If you are looking for an outdoor one, go bigger, even if it is for very little ones. This is not very tall. I gave it 5 stars because it is perfect for what I bought it for, indoor use.

Terrible! Nov 28, 2009
By Erin C. We bought this for my daughter who was about 1 and a half years old at the time. The slide is not functional. As soon as they start to slide, their feet hit the bottom and they get stuck. Worthless. I thought maybe she would be able to use it as she gets bigger or her little sister could, but after about 6 months of having it, it doesn't work for either one of them. Waste of money!
