There are much better tub toys out there!! Nov 15, 2007

I wouldn't waste your money. I saw this advertised in a parenting magazine as a hot new toy... but it's not. There are like a million pieces and they don't hook together like they say they do. The kids spend over half the time trying to jam the pieces together and it's more frustrating than it is fun. My boys (3 & 5 years old) ended up just taking a bath with tons of little pieces floating around. I finally got the pieces together for them and every time they touched it it just fell apart. My kids love tub toys and this one got played with once and they didn't want to bother with it again. It might be good for an older child... but I doubt it.

Arrgghh, this be a great tubby toy Jul 03, 2010
By Lurfy's Ma My granddaughter, age 2.5, could not wait to take a bath. While she was waiting, she set the whole thing up on the living room floor. She had a whole little story going.
There are a lot of pieces, as some have said, but this was a big plus for us. More pieces to make up stories about. And she loves putting things together.
She's only had it a couple of weeks, but it looks to be well made. The little pirate characters are very cute and not flimsy. Her little brother, who is teething, loves to chew on them.
This is a great toy and big hit.

Pirates of the tub Jan 11, 2008
By M. Cognac This is a truly fun tub toy that appeals to different ages. My boys range from 7 years old down to 9 months old and each child enjoys the set at his own level. They love to create scenes on the tub sides and on the mirror. It's a great set and I highly recommend it for boys.

Great Tub Toy!! Nov 24, 2007

"Hip Momma!"
I got this for my 3 and 5 yr old children and they LOVE it! Yes, there are a lot of pieces, but that's what they like! There are enough pieces that they can each create their own scenes and not have to fight over just a few pieces! The only think I would change would be if the characters etc could stick better on the tub walls, but overall it's a great toy!

Great bathtub fun! Feb 26, 2009
By M. Akins Our son got this for his third birthday from a friend. He loves playing with them in the bathtub and even involves some of his other bath toys in the action. The pieces stick well to our tiled wall around the bathtub as well as to the tub itself and the island pieces can float even with some heavier toys on them. A couple pieces are bent and so don't stick as well, but by that I mean if we leave them on the wall, they've fallen off by the next morning while the others remain stuck. Our son got a couple of pirate themed things for his birthday and has decided that he particularly likes pirates. If your kids aren't so into pirates, these might not be for you.
